Sanctuary House Motel Pty Ltd (ACN 681 009 889) respects our customers’ concerns about privacy. We have adopted this Privacy Policy to ensure we handle your personal information correctly and in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) set out in the Privacy Act 1988 and the Privacy Amendment Act 2012 (the Amended Act).   • Payment information i.e. credit card details for payment of booking/processing of a refund

We do not collect this information about you without your consent. We retain it to enable your continuous use of our services and as required by law, or as otherwise communicated to you. We will only collect other information, including sensitive information, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988.

Who we share your data with:
Personal information may be collected from and shared with partner organisations such as an online travel agent (OTA) or tour operator to whom you have already given your personal information. Any such information is limited to that which is required for managing your booking, and the use and storage of such information is governed by this Privacy Policy.

How we store your data
We are committed to keeping your personal information secure and protected from unauthorised access, modification, misuse or disclosure. This includes the use of enhanced computer and network security, with high levels of security in respect to user login and data encryption to prevent data from being read, copied, altered or deleted by unauthorised parties during transmission. Encrypted data is stored securely offshore by our service provider for the purpose of processing, back up and disaster recovery and information can only be accessed in accordance with this Privacy Policy.. Once your personal information is no longer required, we will take all reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify your information.

Your right to access, withdraw consent or request erasure of your personal information
You may request in writing the sort of information we hold about you and if the information is inaccurate or incomplete you may request us to delete such information. We may refuse to grant you access to the information if the Act permits or requires such refusal.
